What is the State Series?
Triathlon Tasmanian, in conjunction with the triathlon clubs have identified four races in Tasmania where competitors can accumulate points for age group rankings.
Our aim is to promote and develop the sport of triathlon in Tasmania, supporting our member clubs, and encouraging members to travel to the various State Series races around the state.
In order to give yourself the best chance, you must compete in at least 3 of the Open or longer distance races of the 4 races on offer. Your best 3 results will be used to determine the age group winners and place getters. Please note that the shorter distance races are designed for novices and DO not count in the State Series.
The races included as part of the State Series are:
Race 1: Triathlon South Seven Mile Beach Sat 15th Dec 2006 Race 2: Launceston Tri Sandy Beach Sun 3rd Feb 2007 Race 3: Hobart International Hobart Sun 17th Feb 2007 Race 4: Northern Devils triathlon Club Devonport Sat 22nd Feb 2007
